Sorry Dou, I am still having the same problem. When the second piston retracts it is unable to pull it over the top of the redstone torch. Maybe there is way to do something over the top of the piston? i think this maybe a issue with the xbox version and that is why it isn't working for me.
Made a new one that works perfectly. Taking screenshots right now, I'll post them in a couple minutes.
EDIT: Hurr dey izz!!
^^^ The base of the system.
Tiling is very easy, just add your pistons and whatnot then extend the lines of redstone. It's so simple because it works based on BUDs.
^^^ 8 of them tiled together.
For a hallway, you should probably just use some sticky pistons from the bottom to open/close the hall. As far as the top half, this will definitely work for you. I've been messing with it for quite awhile now and tested it many times.
nice double extender nose job and think ive got some pics of how i did the 4x20(give or take) bridge that should hlp you with the center section.
the top level is a single stage invrter. using a t flip flop to power. the outer torches. you could you an inverter in your design to change a high to a love and vice versa
the lower level, this level is a 2 stage inveret that then inverts th center of the upper level.
Thanks cowboy, I just finished a moc up of your design and it works great. As soon as I am done with it I will post pictures and give you credit for the design.

That would work beautifully, but I think OP can handle that part. Also, in that bottom shot you could just replace the lone repeater with an inverter. Then just use one array of inverters instead of double inverting each one. It's already done now, so it doesn't matter, just an idea for future reference.

Thanks! You don't have to give me credit though. It's so simple I would imagine something similar has been made before. It is pretty fast though, which is awesome. I didn't even have speed in mind when building it, I just wanted a functional model. It is a lot easier to build with BUDs, I just always forget about them since I rarely mess around with pistons. Trying to directly power everything without using dust is a pain, that's why my first design was such a clusterf**k.
Well i finally got it all to work and I even added a single piston above the second one so that when they go out you can't see the piston arms. Once I get the aesthetics of the entrance finished I will put up some pictures. Thanks again everybody.
i was messing around with double extenders today to help you out and i made a working double extender. ima try to compact it and get some pictures for you tomorrow im done with minecraft for tonight
Well I finally got my double extender walkway done with a lot help from Nose_Job_For_a_Cowboy. I am still making some changes to how the outside looks but here is what I have for the inside.

Retired Staff^^^ Also, those two blocks are not necessary. (The ones that are almost broken.)

Retired StaffHmmm, post some detailed screenshots of the one you built. Make sure the repeaters are in clear view.
(I saw that!
I torn it down to make room for merry go round.
Can I hire you? lol

Retired StaffI can help you out. It won't be until I get my gold account back though. I think you already added me, the gamertag sounds familiar.
I sent it out.
