OK this is my thread so please don't go mad and say there are hundreds of other threads about this so please don't be like that OK so this is and i don't know if there are more threads like this what i am am posting about

my thread is about would you prefer 4j studios to work on mods or try and make updates go fast because lots of people are wanting mods first but me personally i want to get to 1.3 before we start getting mods
what are your thoughts

I would like for them to carry on doing updates
Though they wouldn't be mods they would be DLC add ons and would not be exactly the same as the mods out there.

yes i would be very happy to work on like texture packs such as sphax pure bd craft because i youse that on the pc but i would like them to mostly mae the updates

Im not realy a big fan of texture packs and I dont use mods regularly, but I do see the need for them in some cases just to make the game im playing more fitting to my, catagory, but updates do need to come first.

i know that they have to be allowed to make texture packs and tthings like that but i would think most people would be happy with 4j studios to have there mods and texture packs but i was just wondering im sorry

word. i don't care about skin packs AT ALL, tbh. i'd much rather they completely focus on updates.

also, sphax is the only texture pack i'd spend money on. i LOVE IT.

I'm surprised there were actually some people who preferred skins and texture packs to having MC updated. Why wuld people choose cosmetic [profanity="shit"] over actual gameplay changes and features? Sometimes, answers to poll threadds blow my mind

personally i would like them to get some updates in first then work on some texture packs. i would love some better texture packs then maybe some mods would be cool. not really worried about skins packs as i don't buy them anyway. they are a really fair price for that many skins though

Texture packs is all I want content wise. I'd prefer them to keep pumping out updates before anything though.

I'd take updates all day since it actually changes the game and it's gameplay.

All the people that don't care about updates own the PC version put us str8 to the 1.4 scary update.
Then add a few optional mods... Like Tekkit.
Or if you prefer Hang Gliders lots and lots of hang gliders!!

There's no point in working on mods when the full game and all of it's mechanics aren't even ported over yet. Once it at least gets to 1.0 then maybe they should consider it, but it's entirely too soon to worry about mods.

i like the updates, but i think they should do them in a smaller scale, do simpler updates that they can do once a month or even skin packs once a month, just something new to look forward to on a regular basis, this update that is in the works now seems to be driving everyone insane.
