Idk who's complaining. I mean im not complaining I my self know the update will probobly come out late october or early november Im pretty set on that. so tbh Im proll right 4J will prolly take another 2-3 weeks then the cert yea if u add it its going to come out Late oct or early nov so u guys stop talking bout the update it will prolly come faster Just sleep and play some games and Next thing you know its out :3

Sadly it looks like we will have to wait a little longer. I am one of the people hoping it would come out today, but I guess that is not happening. Let's just wait for this epic update like good little Minecrafters. 4J is doing a bunch with coding Minecraft to the Xbox. They can take they're time.

What that poster is suggesting might not be exactly true. I can imagine them placing data on the disc they had already worked on up to that point to save time. Then, as they work out the DLC, simply updating the data from there. Would save a ton in transfer times. It would also help them work around the limits MS places on DLC file sizes a tad too.
Stuff to remember whenever you start getting overly excited about this subject:
1.8.2 changed major mechanics of the game
Hunger
Combat
Sprint
Lots of new items
Creative Mode
2. Land Generation had some pretty massive changes done to it, including the addition of several new structures
3. Due to point 1, the tutorial will clearly need a massive overhaul.
It has, and will continue to, take some time to get that all coded properly. In a different language. With some unique twists that I'm sure we won't discover until the update is actually released and downloadable. It's gonna take some patience. On both ends.
I wish. Just seems like they are screwing around. They need to release this freaking thing already. These companies made a buttload of money off of us and they just lead us in circles. They stop caring what the custumers wants after they get the money. Just like crappy thq

Anyway, Just sit tight folks, it won't be long.
Most games now have the DLC already on the discs and just wait to charge you for it with a quick download to activate it.
4J doesn't do pc, Mojang does.
