Alright, we need something to change about this big argument about
which console to play minecraft on is better. Guess what? Minecraft is Minecraft.
No matter how outdated or updated it is. Both consoles are ridiculously
enjoyable, and I believe that this debate is futile and pointless.
I have met my share of friendly PC users. Heck, I'm one of them. But it
really just makes my insides feel like crap every time I watch a video on
da youtubes and tons of PC players are ganging up on the 360 players
for enjoying Minecraft! It's ridiculous. I had a dream, that one day
gamers will not be judged by what console they use, but by the skill of
their gaming! I had a dream that one day, PS3, PC, and 360 users will
get along!
Anyways if you're one of those ignorant types of PC players, then just
get over yourself please. I know we all have opinions but I don't shout
"HALO IS BETTER THAN COD" In your freaking face all day!
Sorry guys, but there's just those times to where you need to get it
out of your system, you know? Feel free to post your opinions below.
I agree porkchops. It sure would be nice to answer someone's question and then not have it flip into a comparison between the two systems somehow (sigh). Both versions have their positives and are really being made to attract a broader market overall. It's just good business to try to get a broader group of people interested in a product. I have difficulty understanding why some people seem to want to drive the one version out of the marketplace.
People say that playing Minecraft on PC is the only way to play Minecraft. I can't. And will never be able to. Why? Because I don't have a PC. And the only time I can use one is during school. I have played the PC version. I love it. And thats why I bought it for Xbox. I love Minecraft. I am happy that I even get to experience Minecraft for what it is.
I agree. Although very similar, the two are different games. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Yes, both are fruit (Minecraft), but you cannot compare them because they have distinct differences. They both have upsides and downsides.
The PC version is far ahead in terms of the updates they will have in common. The Xbox 360 Edition is still in beta. Comparing a game in its beta stages with a fully developed game with plenty of other updates and features doesn't make sense. Both versions aren't even done yet. They are still growing and will be continuing to grow for a long time.
There are several reasons why the two can't be compared. As a player of both, I can say that both are great games and I will continue to play and enjoy both for a very long time. There are aspects of both versions that I really like. For example I like the controls for the Xbox 360 Edition (I'm traditionally not a PC gamer, so I'm quite accustomed to a controller). I like the large world size of the PC version (this isn't to say the Xbox 360 Edition worlds can grow to my liking sometime in the future).
Neither version is "better". The whole "__________ version of Minecraft is better than __________ version of Minecraft" thing needs to stop. Whoever says that is simply wrong.
I honestly think that the PC players are quite perturbed that the Xbox is gonna get exclusive features. Than again if its goes that good with the game than you know that they will put our exclusives on PC anyway
I haven't seen anyone arguing. Most of those polls have people answer which they prefer for good reasons, such as mods or lag or servers. No irrational hatred or attacking.
Pc gaming is in the past and old news. Who really wants to sit at a computer all day . Screw that have fun. Get out in the world enjoy the out amazing earth rather the. Stare at a ugly monitor . Amen
Like the first guy said get over your selfs you ain't anymore speical then anyone els everyone is equal of value

yeah the only difference i see between these two versions is the mouse and the controller. People love minecraft for what it is.
Why?? Because you still have the fun of doing what you love, and with the new 1.8 coming to xbox it makes the competition slim down with creative finally coming to xbox. For those people out there who judge the PC or xbox, there's nothing to judge. Well yes there is a few small differences because of the updates the PC has had but besides that the game is what we all love minecraft.
Why do people play more games on PC rather than consoles? It doesn't make sense.
I feel you I dont have a PC fast enough for games but even if i did I would still play xbox because I find it more comfortable to use a controller than a keyboard and mouse
*Look at my profile pic* Even complaining about it is getting old. Even if we were to settle our differences, one douche fanboy will start ranting on and this debate will continue once more. I like to treat both the Xbox 360 and the PC Version as two completely different things. So as far as I am concerned, I like both.
I am to old to let it get to me.
Could not careles what other people think or say about what platform I enjoy playing my games.

If people do not like what I do it is their problem not mine.
This. Plus I am on the forums reading things more than I probably should. Don't see the fight between computer version versus xbox at all. Watched videos on youtube also, still don't see much of any argument over one format or the other. Worse thing I have seen is someone posting on the xbox forum who plays PC on accident or someone recommending that someone get the PC version if they really can't wait for the update. Not sure why this thread is.

I agree. There's not even that big of a difference between the two really besides the controls and the world size. Other than that, it's basically the same game that Minecraft was in a previous version. If you say the PC version is better, then it's supposed to be since it's been updated dozens of times since it was the same as the 360 version.
I haven't seen people arguing about which is better either, so I don't know where that comes from.

I had a 486DX2 in the early 90s, what what.

This, exactly.
