I didn't see this question addressed specifically in the forums, so if the answer is already out there, I'd be grateful if someone could point it out to me.

In the next update, when we get the new mobs, which of them will have the discoverable spawners in dungeons, and which will be spawnerless, like Creepers? Also, will existing spawners in pre-update worlds change? I am setting mob spawner traps, and I'd hate if my skeleton trap suddenly became a silverfish trap, or some garbage like that.

I'd be willing to bet that the "monster spawners" will not change. I've never heard of and Endermand spawner, but if they did exist in 182 pc, they will likely exist in xbox 182. You will be able to find Cave Spider spawners in abandoned mineshafts. Endermen do not have spawners.

Silverfish spawner will only be in strongholds.

So I'll only find the new mob spawners in the new areas, and existing mob spawners won't change. Thanks, gang at Cheers!

I'm not so sure myself if they will bring it in the update. The End portal is a no but it still makes sense if the Stronghold had a silverfish spawner due to the random blocks within strongholds with Silverfish in it.
