so i have made two BIG slime farms and neither one will spawn slimes i used that slime finer app on the second slime farm and it didnt work. i dont really want to make another slime farm but am probably going to. any tricks you guys use to help them spawn? i put glowstone all over the roof of the first one and the second one i just have torches. also theres no snow biome on my map never seen that before.
Slimes are rare. Even if you make a farm, it is still rare to find them. I have a humongous slime farm and I still haven't ever seen a slime with my eyes to this day....
Make sure you're really close to bedrock, and in the right chunks. I'm assuming you've already made it in the right place. What you have to do is listen for water or other mobs around, and light up all the caves that are anywhere near it. Only a certain amount of mobs can spawn, and if there's caves filled up with zombies then you're probably not going to get any slimes. That's what happened to mine.
