Now, before I begin, I would like to say that I am not ranting. I am trying to ask kindly and politely.
Everyday, when I go on the forums, I see 1-2 things about 1.8, mods, or texture packs. Usually, I would just report them, but now, I'm seeing 12 a day. All that I'm asking is that you don't post any 1.8, mods, or texture pack threads. If you would like answers to your questions, please use one of the sticky threads or 4J's twitter, but just in case, I decided to post my own answers:
When will the update come out?
Just be patient and wait.
Will there be tekkit or aether?
4J has confirmed they will only use PC mods for inspiration.
Texture Packs?
Not much has been said about those.
I hoped this help, and maybe the community will start seeing less redundant threads.
P.S I don't see any reason to lock or delete this thread. I am actually trying to help the community. If I had broken a rule, I would be glad to know so I can fix it.
Helpful as you may be, and you're definitely right, this thread is still off-topic and should probably be locked. All we can ask is that you continue to report rule-breaking threads, and the moderating team will be quick to handle them.
