i need help about slime farm, size is 28x30 and height is 7,i got lava at the walls, Y=5 but no slimes, what did i do wrong?

To add on to that, don't stay to close but not to far from the farm. When I first made mine it didn't work so I gave up. I came back about a week later and turns out slime were spawning.
