Zombie Pigmen don't drop blaze rods. Blazes do.
Yes, In a later update they will have a small chance at dropping gold nuggets.
That is correct. But it takes 9 nuggets to craft just one Ingot. &, like I said, they only have a small chance at dropping the nuggets.
