when we get 1.8 we can do our games creative, but what about the other players? i need them to be in survival in my hunger games, how are we gonna do that?, is there a tab which u select who is creative or not?

Nope. Once you load up your world you will specify creative or survival. Which means everyone will be in the same gamemode.
