4J studios tweeted, "we don't have a time or date on when the update is coming out, but we will let you know when it goes in to cert testing which can take 10-14 days."
Now your thinking "Oh this has to come out in October" but matter of fact is that 4J studios said they were also fixing bugs before release, so while in cert testing it could only take 2 to 14 days if there already fixing bugs and everything goes good, SO YOU CAN NOT SAY IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT TO COME OUT IN LATE, LATE SEPTEMBER, THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE!
When it is in cert testing it could go good to were the release is the next day or after. It could come out early October, It could come out LATE September, WHO KNOWS.

1. Microsoft takes 7-10 days after testing.
2. Microsoft releases updates on Tuesdays.
The update will drop on ether the 2nd or 9th of October.(September is no longer posible) And If you follow 4j on Twitter you will be the first to know. Sorry if i sounded mean, I didn't mean to (i don't post often) but these "Release date posts" flood the forums.

Why would it come on Tuesday? It could come any day.
All major releases, add-ons, downloads and Large updates have been released on Tuesday's in the past. Small bugfix updates come out whenever. Microsoft seems to try to keep them on one day so they can launch most at the same time to avoid and problems. It could come out any day but I'm nearly 100% certain it won't be in September. (But any guess is still speculation at this point)

What about wednesday And thursday? They are in the same boat.
Joking aside, tuesday is pretty important this year. Nov 6 is a tuesday. That's election day, but more importantly, THE RELEASE DATE OF HALO 4!!!
