Bedrock was (and still is) available in Creative Mode on the PC... why would they remove it from the Xbox 360? And, I'm sorry to be so curt, but if you are foolish enough to host your world in "Creative Mode", publicly, you deserve to get griefed, especially if you don't realize that you can just break that Bedrock with ONE PUNCH (as well as ALL other blocks in the game).
I like to use Bedrock to block out sections of the map, that are still "under construction", but I would ~never~ give other players on my server the option to use Creative Mode. Not unless it's a "Do what you want, I don't care!" public map.
But not letting people use creative on your server would avert that issue. Which would probably be a good idea in most cases bedrock aside. You'd be opening yourself up for all sorts of problems.

That's just crazy.
Just like this person said. In creative mode, griefing someone with bedrock is just as effective as griefing someone with snow blocks. If you allow people into your world while creative mode is enabled, planning on saving, I would be more worried about TNT and lava.

I should have worded that differently... I'm not a fan of "griefers" or "griefing" (I've not had it happen to me, personally, but I know friends who have had their hard work destroyed, because someone wanted to be a jerk). I don't think people ~deserve~ it, when it happens... but it's something that could be prevented, by exercising some common sense, and caution. I liken it to roaming the internet without an anti-virus, and being surprised when you get a virus. I don't think you "deserve" it, but it was "your own fault" for not taking precautions, when you knew the risks.

^This. Lava (and fire in general) and TNT can cause far more damage to a world, than anything else you'll find in the Creative Menu... well... other than tossing a Creeper Monster Egg at somebody.

Retired StaffYou can mine all of them, even the ones at the bottom of the world.
Indeed, that's the only way to die in creative mode.
