Enderman actually do that... thought they only did terrain. Wouldn't know really since mostly i end up playing in peaceful 75% of the time. That would get annoying them deconstructing my builds..><
guess that makes me not too fond of them either..

Have to go with creative. I will be interested to see how long it takes someone to figure out the exact number of blocks it takes for the Xbox to explode.
I dunno how many blocks it takes to crap out the xbox...but there will be a definite point where it will. I've seen plenty of mega builds start crapping out PCMC. The full size model of the Starship Enterprise was one. It couldn't even render 1/10th of that thing even on max settings. And the lag...god. I'm betting we can deal with a ton. Most big builds happen on superflat, which has far less blocks present initially. Superflat has ground level right above bedrock...tons of airspace. I doubt many folk that play XBLAMC even come close to touching the limits. That Nose guy might, given that he'll probably try some supermassive memory array/CPU on creative. Even the simplest looking redstone nuttery has massive amounts of circuitry. THOSE will bomb out an xbox.
It's Creative mode hands down for me....No more spending hours digging and smelting cobblestone!
Second would probably be the stone bricks. I'm really getting tired of the materials I have and the stone bricks will kick start some of the things I've been wanting to build for awhile but haven't and the right materials to make them look like I want.
A bit off topic but along the same lines the thing I least want is the Endermen. It will be like dealing with my kids. Hey put that down.. I put that block there for a reason!
Well said my friend. I was going to write almost those same things but I quoted you instead :).
im hoping that there is more to what theyre releasing about 1.8 like i am hoping for nether fortresses, so far everything i have checked has said nothing about them and i beleive they were added in 1.9? but 4J said they were gonna bring later things into the newer updates. unless the nether fortesses will be in 1.2.3? can anyone confirm or is there no news...
Excited for creative mode and the new blocks, also the raised clouds and sky limit.. that is in 1.8 right? Didn't see that as an option so I'm having doubts.

Er, I think it's in a much later update, but I'm not entirely sure. It would be awesome if it were, but I doubt it.
I just looked it up on the wiki. World height was increased from 128 to 256 blocks with the 1.2.1 update, a much, much later update.
An air block is still a block. It's still counts as being there even though the characters can move through them. All you do when you replace an air block with a solid one is fill in an block space. You also have to remember that the pc maps are substantially larger than mcxb maps so lag isn't have anywhere near as much of a problem.
If air is a block, why can't you suffocate in the void (you can go about 15 blocks below the void without getting hurt.)? Why can't you suffocate/drown in lava (if you use a potion of fire resistance in the computer version, you don't burn.? Why can't you suffocate ABOVE the map.
I don't think it is actually air, because you don't need to be inside of it to live, I think the 'air' is just a block with no properties. But I wonder if the game would still work without there being any 'air' blocks...hint hint 4j...
Now on-topic I personally like the hunger bar, and I hope they add thirst eventually also, mainly because I like the challenge.

(yes I know that I can't do that for another 2 updates)

That wont be in the next update.
After the 1.8.2 update, 4j is gonna go strait to 1.2.3. So it wont be that far away.
