Not sure on the terminology but I believe it's called a BUD switch in which you can use the state of the furnace as a switch for redstone and other objects. Is this even in the 360 version? I wanted to make something with a furnace opening a secret door but it didn't seem to notice the state of the furnace when I set it up how I saw others do in videos from the PC version.
If it's not just me doing something wrong and it isn't in the current version, does anyone know when this was added to the PC version and when it can be expected on the 360?
I tried different setups including a furnace right on top of or next to a piston but it never did anything. :/
