Hey yall I'm looking for a seed that literally has all water. I kniw for the game to be playable there has to be some land tho. I want to be dropped into a world with like one tree and one sugarcane on a tiny island and I want to try and survive and thrive. Does this even exist?

I don't know a seed you could use, but I'm interested to see what someone finds. I'd love the idea of the seed you're talking about.
Unfortunately, I think this thread will be locked for "redundancy" because of the pinned XBLA Best Seed List. I absolutely don't think it should be locked because the list doesn't have specific seeds like the one you're asking for. For example, a user wanted a seed that is mostly snow but he or she has the thread locked for redundancy. I completely disagree with it, but I understand where the moderators are coming from.
Well, I really hope someone comes along with the seed you are requesting. I'd love to use it myself. I also hope this doesn't get locked. Good luck!

Has anyone considered that seeds from the PC version might not even be the same in 1.8.2? I mean, people have been talking about the world generation possibly changing to fit better on a smaller map, so I wonder why no one seems to be asking if the seeds will even match the PC version or not in the update.

Actually I find if the coordinates are within the boundaries of the xbox version then it will be pretty much the same. I have trial and errored that with at least the 1.7.3 maps. So I am going on an assumption that it will be quite same.
However about the waterworlds, that will be pretty common. would have to reload a few times anyway to get the maps that i personally would like to have. It is due to the new Ocean biome that maps will have even more water, as if they didn't have enough already for my taste. Trying to get a map with mostly land is tough even now for me, gets worse with the next update. so that said i think you may find a fairly decent water map fairly easy once the update is finally here.
