Here are all of the farms that are possible for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.
If you know any that are not listed, then please tell me so I can add it.
I tried to find the simplest farms that I could.
Iv also tested and made sure that all of the farms listed below work in the current version of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. (1.7.3)
EDIT: Does anyone have any idea on how change the title to a thread? I just noticed that when Minecraft
updates to 1.8.2, the title to this thread will be out of date.

By animal farm, I mean a gravity trap. animals (or enemys) swawn, all to their death, and water currents take what they drop to one central location.
There's another way. I created a farm-animal grinder accidentally. I always place 2 flaming netherrack blocks dug in on either side of portals, and one of them is on a tiny island at the corner of my map, which only has one small grass patch right where the portal sits. Animals spawn on the grass when I'm on the other side of the tiny isle, and tend to walk into the flames. So I fenced in the grass, and now they always end up on fire. Most of the time they move away from the netherrack before they die, so their drops don't burn up. I have 3 chests full of cooked pork chops already. I feel so evil.
I dont know, I just like farms and so I think listing and talking about them is interesting.
I see, but the OP isn't very informative. Why not put up some tutorials for these farms? It could be the MCXBLA auto-farm tutorial megathread. Then it would be super informative!

That sounds like a good idea.
There could be variations of each farm and tutorials on how to make them.

Very nice. Does the fire also cook the porkchops that pigs drop?
i'm build yesterday a Cactus farm with Pistons. A semi automatic farm.
Calculation: 3*8=24*4=96-4*8= 64 Items (1 Stack)
edit: oh i see in the list
Cool. The one I know about is different than this so we will have two types of automatic cactus farms in the list.
Do you know of a tutorial for this farm?
Slime farm can be automatic I have one using water canals and clever sign and stair placing. Slimes can climb ladders so getting them to the surface is easy. Also that cactus farm looks resource heavy and inefficient. You can make a truly automatic one using blocks and signs. When the cactus grows it hits the sign or block and breaks the newly formed piece into a water stream carrying them all to a collection point.

Yeah, that's why this fiery method works out so well. In a few minutes, the field will be littered with cooked pork chops (along with leather, wool and feathers). I also learned that pink sheep can happen naturally! I gathered one pink wool block along with all the other drops last night.

There's a similar way which I used. If you place a block (of anything solid) up one and over one from a cactus, the same thing will happen: when it tries to grow, the top block will fly off as a resource. I use fence posts because they have a 1.5-tall collision box (which helps aim the flying resources better) and look a lot better up above the cactus than cobblestone or other cube-shaped blocks. You can group up to 4 cacti around a single fence post for more efficiency, though I didn't do this.

Thats awesome. Iv never thought of that. Im learning about farms as I make this thread! :0
Im definitely going to look into an automatic Slime farm.

Id rather consider Cobblestone and Obsidian to be generators rather than farms.
