I have this really cool map that me and my friends have worked on ever since MCX360 was released. And some time after the last update( I'm pretty sure the one with the pistons) The world has froze at the starting screen every time i press the "load" button. I'm really angry that I'm not able to play on the map to this day, but I'm wondering WHY it happened and HOW or IF i can fix it. I've been google-ing the situation and how i could fix it. Some say the world is "Corrupted". Others say that if you create some new worlds, delete those new worlds, it can work properly again. I've tried that and I've gotten no results. My only hope is that the new Adventure update coming out later next month could fix it. So if i could get any info about this topic, it would be greatly appreciated

Yes it seems your world save is corrupted, there are numerous ways to try and fix it, some have worked for others while others havent worked for them (just like the one you mentioned) The cause? Its debatable, some people say it may be because of duping glitch but who knows. Im in no way to judge or determine the cause as it hasnt happened to me.
And this, my friends, is why you should always backup your saves.
There are some supposed methods of fixing this. But imo, if you don't have a backup, you're probably screwed.
+1. Make backups, and backups of backups--or pingpong between 2 backup devices to keep 2 different states of your world backed up. I'm not making excuses for buggy game saves, however. They should have some failsafes built into their saving system too.
Try this idea of clearing your cache on your xbox. It worked for me. It will remove the old update and then redownload it again. Your map will be fine. This is the step by step from xbox support.
Off topic question.. Why do people feel its necessary to quote OP's original statement when they're replying to it (Fayzed)? It might just be me, but i find this ridiculously annoying, especially when the original post is really long.

I can't answer why others do it, but I've intentionally done it when the threads have become somewhat long, convoluted and off topic; or I've felt there might be a chance that a poster might feel I was responding to a different poster above me rather than the original OP; or when (as above) I'm just responding to a smallish portion of the OP's original post and I want to stress that portion. Being human, I've also done it because I've simply made a mistake out of habit (i.e. I've just hit the wrong button).

UpUp has a good point, but here's why I often do it. See at the top of the thread, where it says 0 people are following? Well, I always follow my own threads, but some people don't. So I quote the OP out of common courtesy, that way it shows up in their notifications and they don't have to go back to their thread just to check if someone has posted.
Just tried that, didn't work. Would it help if i were to try again?
You may have to delete and redownload the game. It will be in the games and app tab at the lop of the list. Find Minecraft and delete only the one that says Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition Xbox Live Arcade Game 114mb. Don't worry you will be able to redownload the game since you already have it.

Exactly this, for the notifications, so they know someone has responded to them without having to look through the page to see if someone replied. I usually edit out the long posts into a spoiler, or even delete the whole text with just there name for the quote, this one I missed.

That didn't work either. I'm not much of a tech guy, so bear with me on this, but do you think an Xbox/Microsoft tech guy could go into the save an "un-corrupt" the save?
If you find someone with the skills needed, that may be possible, however extremely unlikely. Editing save files is a big no-no with Microsoft and is not a topic for conversation here.
i haven't seen anyone suggest trying the save on a different xbox. Might be worth moving it to see if it's a console issue or a file issue.

That's about it, but it is just a very small hope. I wouldn't count on it. A backup save is always your best friend under these circumstances.
