the two videos you saw from 4j teased some footage of the new update but in the beginning you saw he was
flying into the sign "minecraft 1.8.2" but you notice that he was using creative mode. i can show you the proof why the guy is using creative by watching the intro. start the video and see a black line square about a little right in the screen.

How does telling us that the person who recorded the intro footage was using creative mode help us?
ok watch the link
now look 0:02 you see the black wool in front of you, you see
that black line that is square shape, every black wool doesn't have a black line that is square shape. that's why the guy use creative.
EDIT: pause at the beginning of the video which is 0:00 you see the black line around the black wool
if you use 240 than you can't see it.
What he is TRYING to say is if you look closely in higher-than-240 resolution, you can see @ 0.02 that there is the tell-tale "outline" around the wool block that you would be "looking at" if you were to "mine" it.
You know how when you're looking at a block and you're close enough to mine it, it gets that small black outline around it.
I still don't see the relevance of this thread, but that is what he is trying to point out.

you see people don't know if the guy who shot the intro was using creative.
I'd imagine he was using Creative mode to fly around and get a shot. Then again, they most likely have their own version of the game intended for testing and showcasing.
Still don't really see how this is relevant to anything, that black outline appears all the time when you aim at a block.
Many people find that the during the intro they were using creative... It's quit obvious. I'm pretty sure there are people that didn't know this though

I don't "get" what you're saying....
