I just learned a new trap for the local online multiplayer. Believe it or not, this live trap can actually bait, and trap greifers ALIVE. The greedy Griefers are always of course, lead on by diamond/gold. -
This trap involves some minor red stone wiring, but it should be easy for redstone novices.
Before I get into things, I warn you, this is not a full tutorial. If you add me on xbox however, I will join your game and hook you right up!
Here is a supplies list:
Redstone (Two stacks of 64 should do)
Cobblestone / Wood Planks (Preference)
Pickaxes
Shovels
Redstone torches (Stack of roughly 64 to be safe)
Redstone repeaters (Stack of 10)
Sticky Pistons (IMPORTAINT: You MUST have 6 of them)
Buckets (8 of them filled with water)
7 Signs
Ladders (This depends on the depth in which you chose to trap them)
Dispenser
Glass (You only need one peice )
BUILD TIME: 30 Minutes - WITH SUPPLIES
BUILD DIFFICULTY: Moderate to Medium
1.) So, to start all you have to do is dig a 12 by 3 (12 length, 3 width) Trench in the ground, Digging two blocks down.
(NOTE: Count five blocks in from both sides and keep the fith block one block higher than the rest. keep it that way for another four)
You will end up with four lengths of blocks two deep and four blocks one deep and then another four two deep.
2.) Place 3 cobble stone blocks one space away from the raised platform on the width of the trap.
Do this to both sides of the raised platform
3.) Place 3 redstone torches on the sides of the cobble stone FACING the raised platform
Do so to BOTH sides
It get's tricky at this point, but if you do this much, and get it ready for me, I would LOVE to join your game and help you! You will NOT be dissipointed with the results of this trap. The victim will remain trapped underground with no way, but to dig him/herself out!
Best way to stop them from digging them self out is if you put Obsidian in the hole. Thus ends their griefing forever.
That sounds really good, I like that idea. I'd be interested, but I'm not doing much until the update comes out. Just gonna rewire my doors so that I can learn how to do them better. and build some ideas for farms.

1.8.2 Needs to come soon. I understand!
