i have my world with quite a bit of recourses in it. me and my friends have been preparing to fight the ender dragon but im not sure if they can add strongholds in existing worlds. so i guess my question is will strongholds and ender portals be added to existing worlds? also my friend told me if you beat the ender dragon you get a ender dragon egg and a chest full of diamonds. is that true?

yes there will be strongholds did you not see all the post earlier and the tweets form 4j

If you havent explored most of your world you may be able to get a stronghold but there wouldn't be the Ender portal.
And strongholds are gonna take up a bunch of space.

Strongholds spawn within a 600 block radius of the spawn. So if you've pretty much explored most of the map around your spawn, you're out of luck.

Actually by the time the enderdragon and the end are in game you would be able to go in Creative mode and just build yourself an End Portal.

Not true. The End and Enderdragon will be added in 1.2.3 for us. End Portals couldn't be made in Creative until 1.3 on the Pc.
