Ok so many people are saying that the next Update for the Xbox will add Villages but not Villagers.
Ok, that's ok, BUT what I'm worried about is..
If I find a NPC village in my world once the update comes, will the villagers spawn there after a future update, or will the village just be for nothing?
Villagers only spawn in villages when they are first created. However, by 1.2.3, we'll have mob spawn eggs. So you can just go to the NPC Village in Creative and spawn villagers yourself.
thats the pc version, this is the 360...
why do ppl think we are getting a direct port from the pc and presume where getting everything the pc has, clearly that hasnt happened even with the next update
so my answer to the ops question is no one knows
We will be getting all the features from the 1.2.3 release before 4J takes this edition in its own direction, so what Guy said is relevant. The only thing that was left out of this update compared to the PC version is the XP bar, which is useless without enchanting anyway.

Enchanting was something they were looking into. It was not guaranteed we would get it. 4J has since confirmed it will not be in the next update.
As for OP, don't expect them to spawn in already generated villages. If you don't care about leaderboards, there will be the option to add them with creative mode.

They've said it will be coming in the update after 1.8.2. They were looking at bringing it early to 1.8 because it wasn't in that update on the PC. It was in a Beta 1.9 pre-release. So they removed XP from 1.8 to add it later when they add Enchanting since it served no purpose in 1.8.
We'll be getting everything the PC had up to 1.2.3. After that, then everyone can start guesses as to what we'll be getting.
