there is a BIG buidling
my favourite house, not the biggest or the best, but i like it anyway
and the inside of a sphere next to the BIG BIG BIG tower
(next time i will put the imgs inside of spoilers :P)
Well I have finished one but not the other. I think I may still add a few more.
So how did you do this? ive seen creepers like this tons of times and it is just great how they look, but i don't know how it was made. like did you just do this off the blind eye? or do i have to use PC programs o_o

So i gotta ask you a couple of things first of all i think the build overall is amazing! i swear you can make squares look good xD i'd also like to know what kind of block that is in the ender portal?
And ur quoting me why exactly O.o? also...whats so impressive about this? its a flattened landscape with a redstone mechanism. show me a sky limit theme park with mini games and all those bells and whistles dude

Well, you said MCXBLA doesn't have as many megabuilds, so I posted one.
And the reason why I don't do theme parks and all that jazz is because it's not as challenging. I've seen very few redstone games that can match a computer in complexity, and no theme parks even come close. You really can't judge what makes something impressive when you don't even know what's in the picture I posted.
It's funny how some people can be amazed by piston doors and elevators, then see builds like mine and say, "TROLOLOL data processing!? sounds pointless and stupid!!" (Posting this while browsing the internet with a machine that wouldn't even work if it wasn't based around the things I build.)
I might as well throw this in as well. This is not a "best build", but it is the biggest I've done.
As you can see, there are 4 towers. Each tower has 6 levels. Each level has 4 spawning pads that are 8x8. I'm going to be housing the collection point sometime this week. I will also be adding a walkway about half way up the towers. It will run around the center of the 4 towers. I will also be changing the cobblestone channels for something a little more decorative.
Quick update:
View from one of the towers:
Storage room above the collection point. Ladders continue on to the upper walkway:

It's still not finished. Got to put in some windows & other things. Some nice builds in this thread too.
BTW, there is alot more to it not in these screenshots you cant see haha. I can show you my world sometime
what makes you think that?
LOL its just i could never see myself ever doing things like this. I guess i have to put more time into minecraft
Sadly i had to start over yesterday after losing my main map. i couldn't play on it without it freezing :\ so there goes all my so called big builds. So im on a clean map and after seeing all your amazing builds i think i can make an amazing build as well and will post it

I think i could make something like this, but its the fact that im really lazy and get land is a prob for me :\

It is fairly easy to make a Creeper. From the front the head is 8x8 the body is 8x12 and the feet are 4x6 each and from the side the only change is the the body is 4x12. I build them completely out of the lime colored wool and then come back and add the blocks of black, darck green, grey, light grey and white. The hard part is to try and not make it look like a pattern or blotchy.

im gonna try but im better off learning from 1st hand
Since people here like building so much, maybe you guys could try your hands at some truly difficult and complicated builds.

Someone should definitely try building this city. I think it would look amazing in Minecraft.

I'm almost 100% sure that the Xbox 360 Edition's map isn't even big enough to house this city, let alone a small part of it. Nobody but the shows creators know how big the city really is, but I'm guessing it's absolutely massive considering it takes up a significant part of a continent. The outer wall (first picture) has to be at least a few hundred feet high.
If someone managed these, I would be highly impressed.
Here are a few orbs I built just now to see which one would give off the best light to look like a lighthouse or what ever you like. The one on the left is glowstone one space from the glass because right next to it makes it go dark. The next is water with glowstone in the center of the water. The thiird is full of lava and the last is a colum of sand with torched all around it. The pictures are from 100, 50 and 25 blocks away. Hope this helps sombody with a future build.

Here's my 128x128x64 "deathmatch biodome". I used duplication but I think i'd have to be pretty crazy not to...
This one is just the Nether portal room that leads to all of the start boxes for the dome.
And here's some other stuff i've built... Kind of dark though. Looked better on my tv...
A friend built this "tree fort".. i made the ridiculous entrance. lol.
nope its xbox haha.
