Also, another thought, what if there was a compendium thread of everybody's creations on the 360 version in this forum?
What if it is? Does that mean it's not as good as your "legit" dirt house?
....My dirt house? What? Theirs a huge difference about a build if its duped or not, of course how creative someone is shouldn't be measured if they duped or not, its just showing that extra effort someone put into a build if its not duped, and if they played the game it was meant to be, not glitching it.

The iron blocks and lapiz lazuli blocks are duped yes, but everything else (birch tree logs, smooth stone, smooth stone slabs, moss stone, book cases, glass, fence posts, torches) was not. I used a wonderful seed from the best seeds thread called "eggmilf" and the author of the seed left the coordinates to 16 dungeons. So I have plenty of moss stone for my build.
Well i WAS working on the Seattle space needle, but the hard drive it was on got corrupted so i lost that world. i was just about to put on the observation deck.

Nice, I haven't got pics yet, but I'm currently working sniping towers and hidden area so that I can kill creepers and other enemies when 1.8 comes out. I'm using the Dead Mau5 seed btw.
I was going to do that originally but wool can catch on fire if lightning strikes, plus it would have been a pain in the ass to get that much wool. besides, i'm not using anything now because i lost that world. looking back on it there are definitely several things i would have done differently.

If lighting strikes wool, the rain will burn out the fire anyway.
This is going to be a good thread! It's always nice to get feedback while you're building, especially if you're having some creative block going on. I know I will be checking in from time to time to see what my fellow MC-er's are up to.

Looks really nice. I was wondering what materials would look good with birch wood. I guess I'll be using iron/stone then cause it really looks nice together! And yeah, a thread for WIP would be awesome, just so that there isn't so much clutter and people wouldn't feel ignored if their threads get bumped off the first page.

I would post some pics of my self building house that also un builds it self (was almost done) but the file got corrupted. I guess i'll post pics of my ice city... Tomorrow.

Making a thread for everyone to post their WIPs is a pretty good idea. It'll start to get really cluttered, but oh well.

Use Wool instead.
