Will we be able to craft pumpkins into pumpkin seeds or is that in a later update?

You see I never played the pc version so I don't know

I think so? I believe there was a bug where you could not get pumpkins from abandoned mine shafts or dungeons.

Edit: This indeed was a problem in 1.8.1 "Pumpkin Seeds no longer generate in Abandoned Mineshafts' chests."
