Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
so you mean that there's no npc's so the village is vacant.
Thats what he means

And there's no spawn eggs in creative to create villagers. The villages will be empty for awhile.
Of course, I've already built an empty village about twice the size of those on my world. It makes for a neat place to hang out and theorize about urban development. It gives a focal point for people who join your world and it makes for a fun place to play creeper tag....
Village Blacksmiths will have a chest in them that contain anything from weapons, tools, armor, diamonds, gold, iron, coal, torches, etc. Plus, it's a free village and free resources. Villages also have farms you can use to get food in case you have yet to find or farm any. They aren't completely useless without villagers.
Besides, villagers themselves are completely useless anyways. They were just made useful on the PC around half a year after they were added to the game lol
the best thing is aswell that if we are unable to switch from creative to survival on a map ..
we will have to restart a map just to get npc's ..
always nice having a town wiith no people.. like having a coffee.. with no coffee in it ..
We are able to switch back and forth from Creative to Survival. The NPCs themselves served zero purpose until the newest Minecraft update on the PC. So even if we got Villagers in 1.8, we would just be adding one pointless thing to another.

I don't know that I'd say they served zero purpose, MG. True, you couldn't trade with them until recently, but you could treat them as loyal followers and try to protect them, etc. Also, if you were of the chaotic bent, you could annoy them to draw the ire of the iron golems. Also, it might be fun to see how large you can grow village (villager husbandry?)
The update isn't even out yet and people are complaining about stuff they could have left out but decided to leave in for us....
I don't even....what? LoL!

Retired StaffThat... or it can be a pre-made target for a TNT cannon.

That's what I mean. Sorry, I had to do it.
