I was just wondering, does anyone consider the Xbox version of Minecraft their primary platform which they spend the most time playing? Or is it simply another way of playing it for you?
Well considering that the only one i own is the xbox one i'd have to say that. However i do have a decent demo of the pc one. I will eventually get that one, and when i do it in a way would be a separate title to me. Each has their perks and each their differences.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I play it on Xbox since my laptop can't run PC MC but don't get it twisted I still would rather play it on PC if I could. There's just so much more meat to PC Minecraft than Xbox Minecraft. I do love having MC on Xbox and it is a very good port and easy to pick up and play but if I had the money I would buy a gaming laptop solely for MC. Larger worlds,Mods,Skin creator, running updated version, compared to smaller worlds,no mods, skin pack dlc and running way behind PC's updated version on xbox. I mean the choice for most is clear but you make do w/what you have
This is kinda a stupid poll. I mean if we have the PC version why would we put our selves through playing the gimped xbox version. When you have access to a much better game on the PC. I have the PC version that I purchased after getting the Xbox version and coming here to hear how gimped the Xbox version was. It peaked my interest to what I was missing so I got it only to learn that its a much better game that my computer can barely play. So now I still must play the inferior Xbox version or pay hundreds of dollars upgrading my PC(which I plan to do sometime soon) so I can enjoy a much better Minecraft experience. That said the Xbox version does have some good things going for it like framerate, controller(pc can emulate), friends list, built in voice chat and a few little things that are nice. But those are far outweighed by the long list of features the PC has over the Xbox which I wont list. I'm sure once we get to the 1.2 update in January it will be a much better game I just wish that was the version we started with, I would have waited and been happier.[/rant]

This is what I was going for in my post but w/out trying to be so harsh LOL. But I do feel the same way you do
I have both. Spent 200 hours on Xbox, maybe 2 on PC. I love 1.7.3, and it's a shame we're updating so soon. Atleast I'll get some Stone Bricks as compensation.
I haven't really played minecraft on the PC since MCX360 was released. Why? Because it's much more comfortable playing minecraft on a 46' Plasma while kicking back on my bed.
