Ok, so ive been looking at some of the posts about seeds, some are detailed on what they have but no map to show water/snow/land mass ratios, is this an issue or a reason behind it? i have maps that i explore to see the next one i want to build on and didnt know if i could post them of particular map seeds already mentioned and new ones, i dont know if they change after every update or they stay exactly the same no matter what, in some of the seeds not mentioned exploring is part of the game so i wouldnt say what i have seen on them exept they all contain clay. didnt know if this is a good idea, or against the rules to make a thread of nothing but maps taken for different seeds generated by the players, taking someones word on what it might look like may not be what the inquiring minds of users want to deal with, if there is a map for it, by all means go for it and get to creating. It again is just a question(s), not asking for a fight to occur.
For me, any seed that i have a full map of, i just can't post images right this moment. After all i need a FB account to do so. I prolly will eventually, but at the moment i personally have other things on my mind.
All i can say is 50-50 it seems about the FB capture thing people just don't like it. When and if they get another way to capture then maybe. Also to capture the map pic the capture doesn't work for that. You would need a phone that has that, and well... I guess i live in the dark ages on that one apparently since i don't own a cell with that function.
I am guessing also some just don't like to go through the hassle of doing a map pic as that I would even see a long process trial and error to get it correct and good lighting n all. Although I wouldn't mind maps for being with a description, I do like those that at least have plenty of things to say about it beyond that clay or this or that are on it. For me all i ever look for in a workable map is having a bit of everything and still be plenty green...:D
