I don't seem to have this problem with creepers. A diamond sword has them dead in two hits, and when the sword nerf comes you can charge at them to knock them back. Enchantments then allow for further power too.
Please stop posting things that are not in the 360 version yet. This is a 360 forum.
A few posts back someone mentioned they get path-finding in one of the updates (1.2 I think) I think these folks are just mentioning that we get a host of new things to help keep them in line. Creeperssss are good, they only want hugsssssssssss...*BOOM*

Creepers only crime is love. They are wonderful creatures that carry sad faces because friendly adventurers always run away screaming. When they catch up they postively EXPLODE with excitement. Creepers love you so much IT HURTS!

I like to believe that creepers are naturally loving creatures who have been chosen by and evil scientist Motch (totally not Notch) to carry out his nefarious plans of destroying the homes of adventurers due to his embarrassment at being unable to build even a simple shack.
I like the use of the name Motch as Notch's archnemesis lol

I think you fail to see the point. Creepers aren't a problem if you can SEE them. I can beat a creeper with my fists or run away if I can SEE it. I don't waste diamonds on swords or armor.
The complaint about creepers is when they nail you from off camera. You don't really get a second chance.
I've got a lovely island ranch. Lit up every 6 blocks. A fence surrounds the entire island. Nothing can get on. Lo to my surprise when I step out the door (after looking through the windows on both sides of the door) and BOOM! a fricking creeper nails me on my front stoop from nowhere.
