Does anyone know if the new update will be able to be used in my worlds that I've already created ?

Anything you havent explored in your world will be updated so you have the chanch of finding something like a strong hold.

You can still play your old worlds, yes. Only un-explored terrain will actually spawn new stuff though.

That stinks everything is explored in my worlds

I would make a new world, It's like a new place to explore full of surprises and all sorts of things to do.

You will be able to get everything into your old world, even though it's fully explored.

The update is adding the ability to switch back and forth between creative and survival.
Creative will give you the ability to add anything missing, in terms of blocks.

If you were hoping for villages or something along those lines, I don't think you would be able get those updates in an old, fully explored world.

One caveat to switching to creative and back to survival - it will permanently disable the leader boards and achievements in that world
