Oh sweet! Now all I want is toggleable Creative/Survival.
Creative/Survival will be toggleable, but the caveat is that once you save a map in Creative mode the leaderboards will be disabled for that map permanently.
thanks everyone for the input i guess i just thought the xbox was more powerful to handle such a wonderful "PC" game but limits are limits atleast there starting to update it and soon...kinda sad the moible version was gettin lots of updates (its a good thing tho) but not the 15$ lack luster xbox MC.... i kno alot or a few would love to have bigger worlds... my wife loves to explore but she realy has no place to go after say 1 hour of runnin around the map lol

lots of updates on mobile? my minecraft ipad only update twiced.
This is brought up a lot, but think of this. They don't run at 60 FPS, they don't have to load the smooth lighting, all the animals and mobs, running water.. Yeah..
That doesn't make sense either though because Halo and many games like it run high level grafics and A.I while the mobs in minecraft don't even have A.I smart enough to go around a wall.

True, but Minecraft's worlds are completely manipulable. In Halo and other games, the world ends after the textures and programming. Nothing can be manipulated at all. In Minecraft, every single square inch of the 864x864 world that has around 4000 16x16x128 chunks, can be altered and changed.
Add that to 60fps, 720p output, passive and hostile AI, client and server running at the same time, constantly reading and writing memory to the system and game. It's a very demanding game.

PC version has an AI code that allows them to make complex movements, and go around walls. Just thought I'd point that out. Hopefully we get it in 1.2.3.

QFT. It's even more resource demanding on the PC version where the worlds are 32,000,000x32,000,000x256. Which is why people prefer the Xbox version because even their high-end system can't run it.
It's a lot for a computer or a console to keep track of.
Can you terraform one biome to a different one like if I wanted to turn an area in my world from forest to mushroom could I switch to creative and do that?

You could put the blocks from the biome there but it would change the biomes coding.
For example, putting sand in a snow biome won't change it into a desert. You just put sand in a snow biome.

So if I was to cover part of a desert in dirt and forest grass blocks and plant it full of trees I'd have what appears to be a forest biome that never rains.

So should we start making worlds like Gargamel saved as it might not exist in the next update? There won't be any generated structures, but I think the old seeds are worth it.

I'd assume the new generation got in, since the tutorial world uses the dull grass color that the Extreme Hills biome uses.

It adds a lot more for xbox version.
Not in 1.8.2 sadly. We'll have to wait until 1.2.3 for jungles.
Ahh ok, is there any new biomes this time or do we have to wait? Just curious.
Hopefully, swamp biomes, as they were in the PC version.
Also, the rest of the biomes are tweaked and rivers are added that cross in between the biomes.
