also can you use torches? does it take up a block of space? if so, how should i light my slime farm? there is too many jack o launterns needed to cover the whole floor. PLZ REPLY!

you dont need to light up the whold floor just enough so other mobs cant spawn.

i tried it today on pc in 1.7.3 and couldnt get them too. tried in 1.3 and they did.
Have you located where they are spawning first?
