glad someone else is donig a god tree. like the house inside of it. you should check out block fortress's channel. or just look up god trees minecraft on youtube. one tip make a large circle to set the diameter of your branches this will help you place them evenly around your tree. aslo if your doing large coverage youll need to drop some core wood into the leaves so they wont decay, at leat until the update assuming we are getting the updated leaf mechnics, which should almost eliminat leaf decay entirely.also im gonna post some pics of my project. great job again dude.
On a few of my builds I've logged into a guest account in order to have split screen so I wasn't constantly climbing down to double check my work. I learned the hard way when my giant space turtle turned out to look like a huge pile of excrement on top of a pillar of cobble.

Thanks for the tip on the branches. I was puzzling over how to include them without it looking (weirder) than this already does. I built a framework inside the top of that tree to support the leaf blocks and then tried to hide the wood blocks I dropped to try to keep the leaves in place on the upper levels.
