Thats what I was talking about at the building. You have to build your own roof, The only thing I need sand for is to make the door. Windows aren't possible either
In that case, it's not a house. That's 4 self building/unbuilding walls, there are plenty of those around. My friend, DewRadley has a custom 4 x 12 gate that works in a similar fashion. It uses a sand lift and quad extenders, which were supposedly "impossible" for that setup.
I've been working with redstone and pistons. I have created vertical jeb doors, regular jeb doors, elevators, escalators, and some other fun redstone.
Recently i've been working on something I believe no one else has done before, a self building house. Yeah yeah, you're probably gonna post. NU UH, LOOK AT THIS, DO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU POST.
Well, this self building house is not like this:
This house, can DIS assemble it self. The only problem is the roof, which you will have to build yourself or I will soon improve the circuit so pistons are pushed to go grab it then bring it down.
I wanted to see if others have done this, just to be sure, I wanted a way to make this as compact as possible. But so far, the circuit is about 8 layers and 20x15 blocks.

Are you serious? God damn dude, redstone in xbla and the pc isn't that different. Just some other things. You are so ignorant. It's like how people think PC seeds from 1.7 won't work in xbox now. It's the same generation, it'll work.

Actually, technically it is a house, I will create 2 different designs. One that allows the roof and one that makes the roof have to be destroyed / I will have pistons be pushed up and grab it, then be pulled down. The only problem here is re-setting the whole circuit

If you can find a way to do the roof, then yes, it's a house. I don't see it being done with no exposed redstone though.

You will probably need some repeaters on two sides at least. They will need a one-tick pulse too, so the stickies will glitch and perform a block drop. I haven't tried it, but I'm thinking this would be buggy on the Xbox version.
Yeah, I decided on holding off till 1.8 so I can get a full perspective and flat land to do it on. Plus I got banned from the forums... AGAIN. lol
