Agree with everything except I would recommend the use of stone tools if you are doing a legit no dupe world. stone is limitless and that allows you to save your iron/diamond for better things. you always need at least one iron/diamond pickaxe for mining gold/redstone/diamond/obsidian but for everything else stone is the way to go. it's just a waste to burn throug an iron or diamond pickaxe only to get a bunch of cobble in my opinion

I tried to sign my name here, but all I managed to do was ruin my computer screen.
About the only advice i would prolly give at the moment would be....
--Use Water/Lava Wisely.
--Always be aware of your environment, even in peaceful (as you never know when a cow decides to push you over that cliff)
--Use Crouch along edges when building or tight spaces with lots of huge drops.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Just play the game in a way that you find it enjoyable. What I find enjoyable and what you may find enjoyable may be different things... and this is just fine. I find switching around frequently between tasks and difficulty levels helps to keep projects from becoming tedious. Consider adding play elements into your world (parkour courses, waterslides, rollercoasters, etc. so your avatar can spend a moment or two just playing inside your world.

If you place a torch under a sand or gravel block, any sand or gravel that falls on the torch will automatically turn into an item you can pickup.
Save your game before letting new people into your world.
Save after you accomplish something.
If you find sugarcane, plant it so that you can easily get more without having to explore your whole world.
It means "Everybody Love Everybody"
