What is the worst moments you have ever had with monsters? Mine is probably when I was out disc huunting and had a massive mob consisting of skeletons and creepers and zombies following me.

Finishing a nice 2x2 hidden piston door in a mountain to then walk out after a night of sleep and have a creeper blow it up. Gotta love forgetting to save.

Having a creeper fall off the roof of your house just when you step outside....boom.

A spider jumped at me and knocked me down into a deep hole where a creeper blew me up.

Stopping at a minecart stop only to have a creeper waiting there to blow you up before you can get out of the cart.

The worst though was building a chest and starting to put my valuables in it only to have a creeper sneak up, blow me up, blow the chest up, blow the floor up and cause half of my stuff to fall down into lava.

That calls for an automatic re-do.

*Mines 20 diamonds in one excavation
*5 creepers spawn in a completely lit up cave
*Boom

When a poorly spawned creeper was struck by lightning (altering it into a supercharged) just to have it blow up my entire supply building.

Mine was probably when I just finshed building my house and then just BOOM!!! a creeper blew it up......so sad.

I was being followed by creepers, zombies, and spiders.
And right as I was about to jump into a minecart and get away a pig got in and took off.
Leaving me to die by the mobs.

Getting surronded by creepers while next to my house... I'll just say the next day was damage control

Battling a creeper, I stepped backward and promptly fell into a deep hole. Creeper blew up on the surface, but I died anyway from the fall.

I think the chest story has to take the award though.

Getting chased by 6 Creepers and going to the dead end of a cave, Was not a pretty sight.

My worst one would have to be when I built my first house. I wasn't sure what a creeper could do but I noticed four of them following me. I thought they were friendly so I let them in. They sent each other flying across ,my house blowing up the ceiling and the walls and the worst part was that after that was over and I had fixed everything, one of them spawned in my house and killed me. So much for my first minecraft experience

I had an army of zombies, skellies and other monsters chasing me earlier today. I found a cave and decided to hide and there, so I blocked off the entrance with cobble... when I turned around, there was an enderman, charging right at me. Needless to say, he killed me.

Since I didn't have a spawn set, I lost all of my stuff (I can remember finding a dungeon and getting a CD, along with some cocoa beans and other goodies) so I wasn't too happy after that happened...
