I just finished on some redstone stuff so I whent outside (next to lava moat) to see a spider aaaa so what
just slash it with your sword a few times.Well thats what tyed but sigh pused me into the
lava moat.As I burend to death the spider fell in to.Hahahahahaha revenge hahahahaha. So what are
your bigest wins agenst mobs post here.

Zombies and spiders scare me. Haha. Especially with Turtle Beach headsets.. ughh.. When I started to play Minecraft for the 360 (Mind you I have never played Minecraft before only watched a friend play on his PC, while he played in Peaceful) I got creeped out. xD

My mob spawner kills them by dropping them from 27 blocks up. But I have a chute that extends down from the hole (a barrel of sorts, to aim at the center of the death platform) and it was too long for spiders. Little did I know that they can hang on to walls. So imagine my freaked-out surprise when after watching many spiders crush themselves before me, one of them turned around and came after me. Climbed right over the top of my glass shield, and got behind me. Luckily, it was almost dead, and one hit did him in.

I was messing about on a 'survivor man' type mode (limited tools, inventory, travel during daylight only, ect.) I had reached a spot that I decided would work for seeking shelter for the night. My rules said I had to build a cabin at each stop using only what was in the area (it couldn't be scabbed together) and I couldn't leave until I had the cabin finished, wheat in place and a small sugar cane field. I was laying the foundation of what was to be my permanent shelter against a small hillside (mistake!) and I realized the sun was going down in a hurry. I took out my shovel and dug two blocks back in the hillside and made a small L so I could fend off any monster that might find its way into my hiding spot. All night I stood there with the mob noises right outside and just waited. I killed a skeleton and spider fairly easy and thought I was all over it when the morning came and the mob fires started. I stepped out, full of confidence, only to glance behind me and see two creepers heading my way! They had been above my head all night and I didn't know it! I ran, attracting the attention of two other creepers as I jetted past. I was hoping like hell I could reach the ocean before they caught up with me and I did. I swam out with three of the four still after me. I dropped under the water and killed two of them from beneath the water like a shark. The third I had to kite around a little while I caught my breath and then did him the same. The fourth creeper was pacing the beach so I swam until I could get on the beach safely and got him with my bow. It's the best I've ever been able to do against multiple enemies.

Same thing happened to me with my new X12 turtle beaches.

Put on MC and the new headphones. I loaded the game and proceed to play a bit, when nightfall hits I am thinking okay I am good, then I hear the loudest creeper ever, I fall out of my computer chair and when I am not dangerously bleeding anymore, I find out the creeper is not even coming after me but on the other hill.

Damn turtle beaches + MC = mine blown for no reason at all.

The wireless ones were junk for me as well brother. I had a set and the wireless mechanics broke after a month, continuous popping and everything.

I can however strongly suggest the X12 wired ones, best $60 I have ever spent.
I have honestly been using them for my music more so them gaming, stunning quality in the wired X12 ones.

Thanks dude he has been thinking about geting a new set.

It just about 5 layers of darkness, they fall into a hole die where theres water and the items just flow to me.

I can never find spiders! I look all around and can never find any. I can find lots of creepers though! :()

Just got to gamestop.com, type in X12 headset in the search bar on the website and it will bring up the X12 wired headset, the one I suggested to ya brother. Had them a few months now and they are just fine

I found a lot of chests and monster spawners in my map, I destoryed the ones I found.
