I want to make the pistons turn on and off using the least amount of space. So far what i got is using powered rails and a detector rails and leaving the minecraft running endlessy. I think that might be the only way. I could be wrong...

When the lever is off the piston will turn on and off constantly. Turn the lever on and the circuit will shut off. this will work with the repeater at 3 ticks but has a chance of burning the torch out. I use 4 ticks to be safe.
