Haha I know right. That's literally the best thing I've "built" underground. Carving anything or making anything cool underground, like making a huge city underground is simply to tedious for me.
I'd like to see your stargate command build if you want to even bother with posting the pics up. Sounds interesting.
@TN - oh my... O.o kudos and a reputation point for you. Very nice.
That was awsome I'm glad I followed your link couple rep for you. Please explain "ruln 100 lol" haha just kidding.
Best I've ever made was a nifty minecart station and a patch of grass with a few trees on it. now my minecart did spiral down through a very large glassed in tunnel which was covered completely by flowing lava from the lava pool above. there were a bunch of deaths creating that gem.
all of that looks like nothing in compared to your creation. I don't even know if I want to see the stargate.
edit: I really think the stargate command will make me have to destroy my underground world.

I've cleared out a huge underground chasm that goes from ~90 to bedrock, is ~25 blocks wide and probably 120 to 140 blocks long. I think I'll make it much bigger, then build a city in the walls. It will have floodgates to divert water from the river I'm going to construct into the mineshafts I plan to build underneath the city.
Recently i finished a 3x3 Mineshaft at Y=12 that was about 1,000 blocks long. A pretty good amount of digging. I also transformed a desert temple completely underground into a pretty cool room with furnaces, hidden door down to the mineshaft, Enchanting table, and other things. I'm still working on it though.

lol this is xbox forums and your mention of enchanting table I am sure just rubbed salt in the wounds of a few xbox players. I'm not worried about it but I'm sure a few members will silently flip you the bird when they read this post.

I tried to sign my name here, but all I managed to do was ruin my computer screen.
I also made the SGC. On the surface, I built the arched covered gate entrance that the actual Cheyenne mountain has, with road and fencing leading up to it and guard booths.
the actual door is iron, requiring somebody to grant access from the inside. I'm thinking of installing an Arrow dispensor so the guard can kill anything at the door, if need be, from inside the facility.
we have a conference room, gate room (nether portal), gate control booth, and observation room. server room (furnaces). As well as quarters and a locker room. It's not actually all that fancy. Just rooms cut into the dirt/stone/gravel with doors and basic furnishings installed.
the portal links to another portal in the desert over by my main building area, so it is functional for quick transit back and forth. in the nether, I built a Cobblestone corridor to protect folks moving from either gate.
I built an entire minecart system that spreads across my entire world and has entrances at all major locations.
My friend built something much cooler, though. He dug out an entire 50x50 area underwater down to bedrock and put glass around 10 blocks below the surface to make it like an underwater metropolis. He got bored, though, and never really built anything there.
An underground rail leading from the spawn Island to the main Island where I've been building, it goes under a good portion of water to. It took at least 4 hours to make... Well worth it tho.

"I've loved every inch of ground I stand. I'll die before I run"
An underground mall with, so far, a mine tours office at the start of my mine's minecart track. The waiting area has an entire wall that is a waterfall. I also have a restaurant and a bookshop built.
