I recently purchased a 2nd xbox for our home. While my kids have no problem with any other multiplayer games, when both of them try to play minecraft on the same remote server, one or the other will constantly get dropped and not be able to reconnect until the other is off. The message is something like "connection to server failed". At first I thought it might be a throughput issue as one of them was wireless, but they are both hardwired now and we are still having the same issue. Any help would be appreciated.
My gf and I were having similar problems when I bought her an XBox. I followed the instructions I found on the official XBox site to change my NAT and port settings. Unfortunately this will not always work. Some routers just can't handle 2 mass data transfer equipment (the two xboxs) at once. They have a list of compatible routers on the official XBox site.
I realize they cam play other games together no problem, but it seems like minecraft uses much more bandwidth (due to the whole world being able to be changed I suppose) or goes about transferring the data differently I hope this helps
