What do you think minecraft needs? I have a few things
1. Better multiplayer servers ( Anyone could join).
2. Mods
3. Texture packs this light green color is hurting my eyes .
4.breeding and Where animals can follow you.
5. Hurry with the UPDATES!!!
6. Custom maps

The updates are going pretty fast considering they are redoing the game with different software. Plus, 1.8 is coming very soon. Most console games aren't going to have mods or texture packs but you never know. 1, 4, and 6 I really want

If theres one thing that i've learnt, and as the saying goes - Patience is a virtue. The thing is, and this has also been said before, both 4j and microsoft have got alot of cash from releasing MC for xbox. They could have left it at the version it currently is and move onto something else instead. Give them enough time and we'll see these updates.
I agree but there's still the stupidity of having to wait a long time for updates that don't include ALL the features of the PC version of the update itself. 4J is going to pick and choose individual features now to update? Thanks, but If we're waiting we're should get the full package and not whatever features they choose, and having them leave some things out until another future update.
I'd rather have bigger maps than anything else tbh. Mods most likely won't happen and texture packs i don't care about. As for faster updates well I'd rather see a world expansion than get faster updates. The updates are big and take time so I don't mind waiting. I don't care about open servers or renting servers but if it helps w/getting more than 8 people to a map then I'm all for it but we'll have to wait and see what happens
1) Allowing anyone to join is just asking for griefers. It's just not smart to let people you don't know play on your world.
2) They might add mods. If they do, they will be made specifically by 4j and will really be like updates that the PC isn't going to get. If they add these so called "mods" they will be done after the 1.2 update. They want to get finished with updating the game to 1.2 before they decide to mess around with that sort of content.
3) I hate to break it but 4j cannot run content that was made outside the company. You shouldn't expect any specific texture packs or mods to be on the 360 version. I might be wrong on this but I'm pretty sure I'm correct.
4) Just wait until the 1.2 update. Breeding wouldn't make sense in the 1.8 update because mobs spawn and despawn occasionally.
5) If 4J rushes updates, there's going to be bugs and lag. Just be patient unless you want a half-assed MInecraft on the 360.
6) This is the one and only point I agree with you on. I would really like to be able to download custom maps that people make. When I create a recreation of Skyblock in 1.8, I'd really like to be able to share it so other people can play.
Apparently very few people understand the point of this topic... He never made any points, he just made a list, and he's asking for our ideas, not for us to rip apart his and inform him of why the things he wants he can't or shouldn't have..

A lot of you see a list and immediately assume its maker is making points that he's arguing, and for once it's actually not, but you all still jump on it. Chill, seriously.
I play on 360 specifically because it DOESN'T have mods or texture packs.
I would like:
Massive multiplayer, not where anyone can join but where you can join a specific "adventure" or "creative" server along with others who want to do the same.
I don't really want creative mode, but my little brother does, so I'm looking forward to that in the next update. IMO, creative mode ruins the spirit of MC, which is to mine stuff and make things from what you mine, thus having a sense of accomplishment for what you have created, because it took SO LONG to mine those 6 stacks of diamond blocks.
While typing this I realized what I really want is updates. All the time. Like every day. I know 4J has limits on how often they CAN update due to Microsoft controling the updates, but I really wish it wasn't that way.
I'm looking forward to Creative and Adventure and Survival modes, and that's the sum of it.

I'd be happy if the adjusted the interface for skin selection to comply with the rest of the UI standard they used.
to change skin pack, you have to move up to the tab, and then move right/left to select a pack, then move back down to select the actual skin.
Since this is a tab-bar interface, they already had a better standard in the main application (Crafting menu) of using the left/right bumber to switch tabs.
I'd also like to see them let users freely re-arrange the controls for the game. I hate being limited to one or two control schemes, none of which solve the problem I'm after, which is removing the AnnoyMe action from the L3/R3 buttons (left/right thumbstick)

No. That's just an open invitation for griefers. Unless the invite only option is still in play.
It wouldn't make sense to remove the option. chances are it'd still be there
