Does crushing mobs with pistons not work in the Xbox edition? I made one of those mob grinders where they fall down and they die, but saw a guy add a pistol floor raise so they they could decide for yourself if you wish to have them fall to their death or hit them for EXP from the future update. Now what I am trying to do is add in pistons on the sides so that it will crush them if I flick it on and off real quick (figure out he circuit stuff later). Instead they just glitch inside of it.
This is what it looks like just Piston, Cobble, o stand they fall on.
yes it does work, im using it myself on one of my traps
Is there anything specific to it actually killing them in terms of placement? The mobs litterally just get stuck between 2 pieces of cobble and take no damage. I am assuming I am missing a key component.
Check out MonkeyFarm's Tutorial for this: .
There is a Loot Pusher, A Mob Crusher and a lever which sends the mobs into a trap (Lava or something like that.
If the o's are where the mob is standing then this design should work fine. I've done it many times on the PC. And since you can still kill mobs by dropping sand or gravel on them, it should still work fine on the xbox. You could probably lose the two bottom pistons and have it still work.

There actually is no bottom piston since it lines up perfect with their heads. I got it to work, I think it was already working but they just turn like a black color instead of a red (damaged). I just used a switch and they basically suffocated in betwen the 2 cobblestones. It just took long then I expected. Thanks guy!
