Just thowing out some ideas I've always wanted to see in future updates for the x360.
- Kinect connectivity
-ability to motion capture npc character animation using arms, legs, body and head movement
-npc area movement captured using control stick
-Voice over system
-ability to use controllers microphone to record voice overs for npc characters
-voice activated commands for use with in-game storylines
-voice overs activated by nearness to npc characters (hello shop keepers!)
-Joinable worlds
-ability for anyone to join a 360 created world
-selectable areas that can't be destroyed or changed by anyone other than the original creator
Basically just want to get the 360 version up to date with the pc as far as making your own storylines and rpg seeds.
What do you think? Would you buy a Kinect for these features? What are some of your x360 hopefulls??
Upon release, 4J Studios said there would be Kinect compatibility, but I'm not sure how that would work, if or it would even be fun. Imagine the strength needed to literally stand there and pretend to mine for 30 minutes. It doesn't seem like much, but it definitely would be.

I wouldnt want to mine or use my character through kinect but i think it would be just about the greatest thing ever for creating npcs and events. *waves arm at screen
You guys seriously have no idea how minecraft kinect's gonna work, do you. If you look it up on youtube, a person would stand in any position, the kinect would sense them, then they would be recreated into minecraft. Just look it up if you have no idea what I'm talking about.
I'm not talking about using it to replace the game controller. Just as a way to record npc movement and record speech. Seen the guy that created kinect functions video a long time ago. Just thinking this would be a more practical use.
Imho I'd rather have other stuff more than the ideas posted like Increased world size(I know I'm beating a dead horse), hosting more than 8 people online, bringing certain things forward in updates like enchanting and breeding, and maybe a few texture packs somewhere down the line. If they could work on these first then maybe they could concentrate on Kinect
I was thinking, in regards to world size, that you should be able to dedicate a certain amount of your hard drive to the map if that would even be possible...
I dont know exactly how Kinect works, but if they made minecraft able to use Kinect and it worked like I think it might I would get some serious exercise with all of the mining I do. Hopefully I wouldnt pass out, lol!

I think we'd have a lot of people throwing their right shoulder out of joint. I haven't played much on Kinnect; but I find it can be a real workout. As a result, I think I'd like an in-game option for individual players to switch back and forth quickly, so I could continue playing but rest my arm without breaking the flow of the game... probably complicated to program though.

I did own one already I guess I'd be a happier minecrafter lol.
These are some interesting ideas though.
