I'm making my world appear as if the Nether is spilling forth from a portal. So far I have Nether Spires (A large tower of lava that you can walk inside and even stand on top) at the middle of the map and at each cardinal direction. I have a Galleon (Made of Netherack and Soul Sand) floating in the air near the middle that the only way to access is via Nether. And planning on adding Altars throughout the world. But I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what else I should add to the Nether Kingdom?
EDIT: There are other additions with pictures further in the thread. Once the world is complete I will consolidate the posts.
I'll see about erecting one of those in the south eastern corner of the map ( I feel like I have favored the north too much ). Also... any ideas for a Nether-esque use of Lapis Lazuli blocks... I'm finding a lot of them.

Just so you know, you don't have to upload the image to another host. When you take the screenshot, it uploads to Facebook... it's already being hosted there.
You would think this would be obvious, but I've seen a few people telling users they need to upload the picture to an image hosting service such as imgur or photobucket. When in reality, it makes no sense at all, it just doubles the time it takes to share a photo.
Much appreciated NJFC, My only concern was the pictures not showing correctly for people not having access to my facebook page. But this will make things easier in the future. Also the Nether Castle is well under way, should be completed by this weekend. I will have a sign inside the castle giving credit to Lonewolf for the idea.

Alright Nether castle is done, sorry about the links but the images are not showing properly for some reason. I am doing everything the same as the last update.

Agreed, lets see some pictures! That'd make it easier for other people to see what you have so far and what you can add on.
