Hi all. Relatively recent player on the Xbox version. Here's my problem:
I'm trying to build this basic minecart station:
No problem building it. But I can't bury the wiring for the minecart storage circuit and still keep it working.
Every part of the circuit appears to work correctly except where it connects to the block that switches over the track. Placing redstone under the track immediately stitches the track. but the button won't switch it back. It's simply stuck in the state its in after I place the wire.
If anyone has advice on making buried redstone wire connect properly with rail tracks I'd be grateful. I couldn't find reference to this issue anywhere - only the known bug on the wiki "On the Xbox version, redstone frequently fails to function as it's supposed to."
I think it may help to place the track after placing the redstone. You may have to rebuild the whole loop again, I'm not sure. Also, the direction is important. For some reason, minecart tracks naturally want to go one way, and making them go the other way is a little tricky. I think they naturally want to go either to the south or the west. Try moving the whole loop to the other side of the track and see if that works.

Help?
Try making a different "corner" the one that swaps over to release the cart from storage.
