It took about an hour and a half total to build, 16 x 16 x 35. It's placement overlooks my other Doctor Who related project, Bowie Base 2. I plan to make the inside of the TARDIS explorable over the next week or two.
Go ahead and click here to go to the project page where you can download the world save for the computer version and/or the schematic for use in MCEdit.
Are you going to base the inside on one of the many versions of the TARDIS or are you making it completely original?
I've been thinking about putting a portal, which leads to a short hallway in the nether with a portal at the end which leads to a hidden room on the map. I'm not sure if I'll make it unique or not, I'm quite fond of the 11th Doctor's TARDIS setup. We'll see.
I used blue wool. I used creative mode on the PC to decide which blue looked the closest to TARDIS Blue, and then using MCEdit, once I had my schematic built, I replaced all the blue will with Lapiz Lazuli blocks to see how that looks. Up close it isn't too bad, but overall Lapiz Lazuli just looks groggy.
That looks amazing. I've been looking for a 3d model of the tardis that could fit easily on the xbox. Did you come up with this on your own or use a template?

I came up with this on my own using the PC version & creative mode. If you'd like, I could make the schematic available (via MCEdit)
Love it! Once ive finished with the world im doing now i need to get started on my Doctor Who world. TARDIS, Skaro, Gallifrey, Mondas and maybe some aliens - Although it might have to wait till Super Flat and Creative mode are released in the next update.
For a fairly basic structure, there is something aesthetically pleasing to the eye with that picture. Maybe the blue in respect to the snow or perhaps the loneliness of the building in a harsh environment. Either way, I really like that screenshot. Thanks for sharing.
I've added a link in the OP leading to projectminecraft.com where you can find the world save and schematic!
Hm... I have a few interesting ideas for an adventure map with Bowie Base One... *grabs zombie villagers, TNT for rocket and nuclear device, and water bucket dispensers*

And very nice work, BTW. DW RULES!!! =D
Thanks! I wanted to try and keep it more compact because the Xbox ceiling height is so much shorter.

Thanks! I had to make a TARDIS in my Doctor Who Tribute world.

Thanks a ton, guys! Hopefully I can get Bowie Base 2 finished up and ready for tours soon.
TARDIS& Bowie Base 2 (based on the Waters of Mars)Haha, no (but I see what you did there.) The actual seed I used was Ravenloft.
