I'm going to convert my world to RPG but I had a question about economics. Laissez Faire economy or should I set some prices right away? I plan of giving new players a room in a hotel and a block of diamond, wood, and a few other supplies. I'll sell them plots of land for a stack of 64 Gold Blocks. Will the economy regulate itself, or should I micromanage, or somewhere in between?
I plan on duping myself, to ensure the proper flow of certain items and to jumpstart players.Eventually I suppose I could stop duping. Friends would be very limited in duping. No one officially playing RPG would dup, Just other admins and they would be regulated. So from a normal players point of view, there would be no duping (but the tools shop would never be empty.)
i would say to have it all mapped out what things would cost as a base but it would be fun to have compeating shops so they could have better prices the same we do with supply and demand ex. if i have 1 dimond pick and 12 people want it the price gos up
