Ok this is seriuosly weird... no matter how closed off i make any of the rooms in this place i built monsters still show up when i sleep.. and when i dont sleep for that matter. also i keep hearing moaning and groaning through out the day. you know those little hints that show up when the game is loading? well one of'em said something about monsters dont come near areas with torches... well i call BS on that. i threw like 30 torches up in my bed room and yet i still get molested in the night. its gotten to the point where i have to sleep with a dog for extra protection...i call him Adolf... and the really creepy part is i have this painting of a creeper hanging up in my room and he just stares at me... i think thats whats doing it. Your thoughts?

The noises.
You probably have a dark area under your house which is able to spawn monsters.
They do go by light they just dont spawn near light.
There a bugs with monsters entering rooms when you sleep, do you have double doors?
lol dude start digging under and around your house, that might
be wheere the noises are coming from.
Torches don't keep monsters away, they just make it to where
they can't spawn in the area (they only spawn in the dark).
If you have double doors, that might be a problem as well. It's
been proven that double doors increase the odds of zombies
and skeletons spawning when you're sleeping.
is you're bed at least 1 block away from any walls on each side? if no then that might be you're problem. Also make sure every door and trapdoor in your house is closed.
