You know what you should add, 50 caliber built in machine guns with 10,000 rounds per minute. I would just shoot everything that moves.

first of its spelled "coal" and secondly the xbox cant handle pistons very well so how the hell would it be able to handle helicopters...exactly it wouldnt
PC has Plane/ Helicopter/ Gun mods....... Possible it maybe a future speculated feature added to being looked into...... Not any time soon but, A dog fight with friends is always fun I like the idea just not yet.......
Frankly, I love this idea. Minecarts need rails in order to move. Boats need water. With a helicopter, you can fly around anywhere you want without having to waste wood or iron.

P.S Why does everyone hate this idea?
For me, because 1. it isn't necessary, doesn't really solve any issue that is currently in the game. 2. I would rather have them work on the updates, rather than add stuff the PC version doesn't have. 3. If you want to fly around you can just be in creative mode.

Nobody Hates the Idea..... It is just not realistic. The crafting recipes are so ridiculous in the PC mods they are Buggy At best..... I would rather fly in creative as is........ A stable Xbox version is far from being available. Lets focus on getting the core game sorted out before suggesting Flying contraptions Just my humble opinion....
I would this or maybe a car or something. Mine rails are sometimes a huge pain. I will say though that helicopters would really need a larger map size. I know people keep gripping about pistons, but they will work better after updates and things will get better.
Helicopters (and guns, cars, planes, etc.) in Minecraft would not "be cool". You're not thinking about how they would look in a block world, what size they'd have to be, etc.
In creative you can fly... like Superman! A helicopter would "be cool"- but for only about 2 minutes. After that, it would be a PITA. It's certainly not worth coding into the game.
Because it's a GAME...... Unrealistic is the point. Punch a tree and let us know how that turns out When do we get Ponies????? (JK) Batman is kinda ridiculous too my friend..... You have the Bat Wing right???? How Is that different than any other fantasy role playing.... Steve can fly soon enough... Argument null and void.

This is not battlefield 3. This is minecraft. Besides, I'm sick of TYGER helicopters shooting me anyways.

Minecraft is a survival game. Not a god damn mario kart racing helicopter game. Batman has the batwing because it is relevant with the character (Awesome Gadgets and Vehicles) whether in Minecraft, which is a survival-building game, has nothing to with battlefield 3 helicopters.

Because of the bad grammer and silly idea i would guess, plus the troll urge. I too like the idea but I dont see it EVER happening and thats ok. But Sinful how can the xbox "not handle pistons" ? Do you only play pc and just hate on xbox? That has never happened to me, ever. Pistons work fine.

You have to craft a cart, then a powered cart (cart+redstone torch+coal?).
Then you can place it on a cart track and place a chest in it and send it across the map under its own power.
