While waiting for 1.8 to be released, I have been working on projects, but now i'm out of ideas. Does anyone have any ideas to do except gathering materials for 1.8?

Hide in a small, industructible bunker with books, a lamp, water,
a hand held gaming system and a bed.

Stay there for about a month, and you will get on your xbox,
download the update, and when you talk with your friends,
they won't be all pshyced over the update because it is old
news to them, and everybody will now be waiting for 1.2.3

Or you could just be patient

make a huge castle,slime farm etc then put it on hard see how long you can surrvive for!

I've decided to be really, REALLY OCD and build a big mob grinder underground. According to the tutorials I've seen. the biggest efficiency factor for such grinders is making certain you've lit up all the caves underneath it. Thus, I meandered off to the farthest corner of my map where I have a really big, deep body of water (say 30 blocks at the world's edge) I'm currently filling it in with sand and using the the torch trick to dig the sand back out again. From there I plan to dig to bedrock to cover the all cave aspects.

Maybe back up your world to a flash drive first

Here is an idea. Research this entire forum and find the multiple topics that were started with very similar title names as yours. You will find tons of ideas on most of them. They should rename this forum "The Redundancy Forum"
