Wow lots of fuss over someone just creating things and having fun in a world that THEY enjoy. If pixel art is what the OP enjoys then more power to him...good for him to play the game the way he wants.

You are correct, these pixel art people are stopping all the posts about "Where's the update", "Hunger Games" and "Duplicating is it right or wrong" threads from taking their proper places at the top of the forums. This thread would have been well down the page if it not for people arguing over pixel art sucking or not.

This guy made something he was proud of, wanted to share. I have no problem with that. I think you exaggerate the quantity of pixel art threads, or your hatred of pixel art makes you believe that there are more than actually are posted.

I never attempted doing Giant Pixel art in Minecraft but I'm sure if I ever tried it would turn out disastrous. My brain just doesn't see the bigger picture of something while I'm building. So if your telling the truth about free building that bad boy then Kudos to you!

He didnt free build it. He looked at a pixelized pic of it and then proceeded to place blocks where the pic showed him to.

You didnt offend any one buddy. Hell everyone makes pixel art at some point in their MC playing. But im serious about working toward 3D objects. The wow factor and responses you get from them are more uplifting then pixel art.

I'll get right on that as soon as I'll be able to build higher. My only complaint as to why I can't try them is because I have such a small height limit to build from.(unless I dig a massive hole which reaches the bottom of the world which would take a Lot of time.) and I'm excited for when 4J includes flat plain worlds for the use of that.
